| I thought I should forward my traffic experience today: Needing to reach the A3 [in a smart suit] and with the Mortlake option looking rather flooded [water mains] I tried to use Wandsworth Bridge Road southbound. A new SW6 restriction applies to drivers travelling north in SW6 on the Kings Road from the Fulham Palace Road / Putney Bridge station area. Essentially car travel to W-W Bridge is barred for non-local traffic. At present no fines, just ANPR warnings.... Go to Fulham SW6.com for Map and full details. Roads such as Linver Road and Cristowe Road off the KIngs Rd. cannot now access Wandsworth Bridge Road. The objective is to reduce Hammersmith traffic heading South-Eastwards.....through Wandsworth. |
