| Ouch. With the window locks on you can open ours enough and they can't do that - just as well because the older double glazing makes them heavier. I'd forgotten that before double glazing the bedrooms and bathroom when it was cold outside there was always condensation on the glass. We don't get that now. I meant of course that my brother replaced the sash cords rather than mended them on the older ones. There are companies that speialise in refurbishing as well as replacing wooden sash windows. |
