I've managed to get back into a cotton kaftan I wore as a teenager in the early 70s.  So comfortable!

Which of any new fabrics are really good in the heat?

I know that they can be tempting because they are quick to dry and don't need ironing but...  hanging carefully to blow in the breeze can work better than a tumble dryer - or nearly as well as in this weather.
