| We're here once again. I hope that many of you will be abl to access any articles behind paywalls. Basically with Victorian and Edwardian sash windows they were designed to be kept open top and bottom to ensure that hot air left at the top and cool air entered at the bottom. It doesn't need to be wide open. It does work and it doesn't rely on electricity! Think also about security. Any locksmith worth his salt should know where to put the window locks so that you can do this. |
