| On the 10th I posted a quote from the World Health Organisation describing potential problems associated with mask wearing and advice from our government describing the procedures for mask usage. My intention as to draw peoples attention to the balance of risks and benefits involved and perhaps to stimulate discussion along these lines. Since then, the pro maskers have continued to swap anecdotes and share their disgust at the spittle flecked bio hazards that used to be their fellow citizens who may have valid exemptions or do not wish to risk their own health for dubious benefits. As I have repeatedly said on the forum I am not an anti mask absolutist - had we been encouraged to wear them in March and April I would have agreed that this was a useful thing to do based on the evidence available at the time. I'm still waiting for the pro maskers to respond to the WHO and government advice and persuade me that their view is the correct one. |
