It isn't absolutely up to date but it gives a good idea of what happens there. https://www.lbhf.gov.uk/articles/news/2019/02/donate-unwanted-furniture-help-those-need and for small items of furniture which may need a bit of TLC and may not make the high standards required by some second hand shops - try Petit Miracles in Shepherd's Bush - if they're open where they teach people to mend and upcycle furnniture. |
