| Please read this - you will find out more about taking back electrical goods to stores - and it doesn't just mean that you always have to do it at the same time as buying. Do check though because you can't expect the person at the checkout to always know what they should know! This is for when something no longer works - you maybe able to get something fixed. There is a place in Acton Lane? - not sure it is open yet after the virus and the other place I knew in Chiswick has closed down. There is a little place in Mattock Lane in Ealing where you can get your vacuum cleaner mended - and don't forget to get it serviced every so often. Apparently vacuum cleaners are often ditched just because they have not been emptied! You can find info online on how to change belts and find spare bags for machines when the ones sold in the supermarket no longer match the machine. You can also find trouble shooting info and videos and spare parts for machines eg those nozzles that somehow disappear. Don't forget to clean the filters or not only will it not clean properly but you will wear the engine out. I changed the gasket on my oven not that long ago and wondered why I had waited so many years. It was the completest and doddliest doddle you can imagine.
