There was a pub in Salcombe many years ago that would have a lock in every night. The manager was a real Cornwall boy and after 11pm the doors were locked and whoever was in there was treated to him turning the lights off and telling sea fairing ghost stories around the fire into the early hours. Fantastic fun that was. Sadly that pub is long gone (as is the landlord I imagine) and it is now a Post Office and gift shop.
