| I noticed two signs attached to lampposts on southbound Sutton Court Road, just before traffic lights at the A4 junction. The signs said something like "Hounslow Idling Engine prohibited, £60 fine". (I haven't seen these notices anywhere else.) What struck me as odd is the placement of signs there as my understanding is that you are not contravening idling engine "When a vehicle is stationary owing to the necessities of traffic" (from the traffic management order). Anyone know otherwise? |
