| Liz.Less parking spaces = more illegal parking More illegal parking = more tickets being written More tickets being written = more money for LBH Which at the end of the day suits Hounslow just fine.The steady expansion of the CPZ's was only ever designed to wring as much money as possible from the beleaguered motorist.They will do whatever they can to cane the motorist.I rang them last week to report the theft of a blue badge.I asked if there was some form of temporary permit until a new permit could be issued.NO I asked how long it would take to get a new badge issued.10 DAYS.But if I park without displaying a blue badge I will get a ticket.CORRECT.I asked if any ticket I may get could be cancelled.NO YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY ANY TICKET YOU GET.So if it takes 10 days to issue a new badge and I get a ticket for parking in a disabled bay every day,that's over £1000 in parking tickets I would have to pay.CORRECT.Don't you just love them ? Hounslow must have a team of people in a broom cupboard somewhere beavering away trying to come up with the best way to slaughter the driver.And before all you cyclists say"hey,you should dump your car and cycle"I was talking about renewing a blue badge |
