That is a good point. Mine does too. I will see if the insurers want to be involved in a campaign if the Council persists in this nonsense. There is nothing wrong with trying to stop a pet being run over, or starving to death, or being eventually found by someone and handed in and then put down by a rescue centre because its owners can't be traced. We are not putting posters up for financial gain but to potentially save the life of an animal and reunite it with its often desperate owner. I think we should ask the council if they are happy to see domestic pets die simply because they would probably like us to apply for a license to put posters up (incurring a fee, and huge delay by which time the pet could be dead). |
