| Do we believe Mary Macleod? Personally, I believe politicians just want to stay in power so will sway with the wind. It is too soon to get complacent. And there was I, thinking I might just get away this year with a campaign against local government officials who want to take those posting missing animal posters to court, and now it looks like I might have to gear up to fight the third runway all over again - been there, done that, the arguments are exactly the same as before. But Cameron and Osborne's cosy chats with the monied classes and big business look like they are having an effect. I will be watching this very closely, as I believe everyone who is against the third runway should be - and if you live in Chiswick and are not against it you must be into self-torture, or deaf. |
