| I lost my 13 year old cat to a fox in Chiswick. It was witnessed by many people and neighbours even tried to get the cat out of its mouth. A horrible death. And in reference to mice and rats; I can recommend getting an Eastern Diamond Python, or a carpet python. I now live in subtropical Australia and have had five of these forming a mating ball in my woodshed. I found another one asleep just on top of the chicken roosting boxes so I put it in a cardboard tube and gave it to a neighbour who wanted one to keep the rats down. Most of the ones I've seen are 2 meters long but they grow to 4 meters. The Python I gave away returned, you have to take them more than 10 kms or they go home. And back to foxes in Chiswick, I caught one walking out my front door in Steele Road and one ran off with one of my sisters R M Williams boots as she was polishing them. |
