'supposed' is the right word..if going by the other olympic games is anything to go by.... In fact what has happened else where, is that they inflate the numbers expected...people get greedy and put up their hotel costs etc....and then other tourists dont come because of the 'expected ' figures and tourisim has actually dropped during that time. They may be a profit to make, but do you really think for one minuet that it is going to come back to the taxpayer who is footing the bill for this. About 2 years ago I watch a very short doc about some wonderful allotments that had been going for about 25 years. They were very much used by a mix group of the community - but they were being  destroyed in order that a car park could be erected to use for just 4 weeks for the games in London. I have always been against the games.
