My first response would be don't judge a book by its cover. Secondly that I was saddened by the leap to judgement before getting the facts straight. The school and the sports hall run separately out of school hours. Any problems with the toilets was probably a sports hall not a school issue. The grounds were heaving with people at the football tournament - they were also used by many other outside groups at the weekend - maybe some of these people were responsible for filling the bins. I am an interested party. My children are in Year 10 (joined in year 7) and Year 13 (joined the 6th form) I have been impressed by the quality of teaching, the pastoral care and the positive atmosphere of the school. Yes the site is a little grim - but that is cosmetic. Re: the bus issue. There is always going to be a minority of loud mouthed individuals whenever groups gather - be they school children on buses, tourists on planes, football supporters at a match. That's life. We shouldn't tar the majority with the poor behaviour of a minority. Choose Chiswick - it's a great school. |
