We have just discovered that our car has been towed away, apparently on Friday afternoon. They say it was not displaying a resident's permit (we are zone B in Ealing) but it DOES have a permit and I can only assume it had somehow fallen off. It is a car we use only at weekends when our two sons have different sports commitments, so it is possible that a PCN had been issued which we had not yet seen. We have to collect the car tomorrow as the car pound is closed at weekends and then I presume we will discover exactrly what has happened. What I don't understand is that if the same traffic warden has been walking up and down the street for the past months and obviously knows the car has a permit, why do they claim it doeasn't? Has anyone had any experience of this situation? Thank you! |
