| Another way to look at it is if there was no conspiracy this still does not mean that the actions following the event where not that of a conspiracy. Naomi Klein has a interesting book out called the Shock Doctrine. This outlines how, at times of shock, policies and measures can be put into place without the usual public resistance. For example the education system of New Orleans was effectively privitised in line with right wing think tanks after Hurricane Katrina in what can best be described as a targeted raid. So if you ignore any potential conspiracies there are still enough events that are not hidden but not in the lime light that many consider should be pointed at as acts of, what is coined as, Disaster Capitalism. http://www.naomiklein.org/shock-doctrine |
