| Sam, I believe Andy Burnham and Sir Keir before him have been too preoccupied with other factors than worrying about an unlikely split-up of the UK. By this I mean concerns about Ukraine, Iran, Uncontrolled Immigration, Cost of Living, Energy, Welfare, Young Unemployment. Devolution in Wales and Scotland has proved disastrous and both Labour PMs probably think the Celtic people wouldn't vote for self determination. Northern Irish protestants would never vote to leave the UK but not so Sinn Fein and Catholics. |
