| Watching BBC breakfast this morning, I could not help but think about the many drivers hanging out on the Chiswick high road - how many of these are illegal migrants working in the gig economy for companies that turn a blind eye in pursuit of cash? I guess they know we don’t have many police officers in W4! Also, do we know if the Big Issue salesmen on Turnham Green are legitimate? There is a smattering of similar looking fellas in W4 and a number across London who have the same shaky leg issue. We need to ensure our cash donations go to the true causes ie people who are homeless and need urgent support (and not some organised gang). Perhaps our local MP / councillor could address both points? |
