| That’s not quite correct. The cost is £98.20 but collections only operate from March to the end of November, just nine months. Given that they collect the garden waste on the same day as general waste it’s likely that you might get even fewer collections, depending on dates. People missed the small print last year and were upset by the service reduction and price increase, with the consequence that subscriptions have dropped massively this year. The idea was to save money but has ended up being even more uneconomical. Ealing has been sounding out residents about further changes to the service. It remains to be seen if they will reinstate a 12 month collection. |
