The Bedford Corner lake appears to be increasing in size. I don't think there is a gully beneath it but the level of rainfall last night didn't seem to me to be enough to result in that much standing water. It is possible that the camber of the road is getting steeper which may suggest, literally, that there are deeper underlying problems.
