I think you have a point. The lake on the road at the north east corner of Acton Green seems to be a constant feature now which may be bad drainage or the sign of a slow leak. After the sink holes appearing on TGT and Chiswick High Road last year, it was suggested by engineers that a proper survey be done using ground penetrating radar but that doesn't seem to have happened.
