Vibrant towns with motorised through traffic have reduced crime because criminals are aware that constant through traffic produces plenty of potential witnesses to crimes. Admittedly I haven’t been to Hounslow town centre for many, many years but the last time I ventured there on a particular errand, it was not a pleasant experience in the pedestrianised area. |
