Evolving street space is an urban design issue. Sadly you don't and won't and can't understand that. Even your example of Central Park missed the mark. Olmstead was a visionary and, get this, he allowed for cars to exist in an urban environment. Poorly retrofitting cycling infrastructure does not a pleasant urban space make. Simply look at CHR. But you know all this. Anyone with half a brain can see it. Now if you came along with a grand scheme to coordinate and liaise with LBHF and redesign all of King Street and CHR for all manner of transport then that would be something to get behind.
