| Well lots of the young don't drive and car ownership has dropped. Newer cars seems to have the facility for the engine to automatically stop instead of idling. Newer cars don't have the emissions the old ones do. Cycling and walking is even better and it has been good walking a lot more recently. There are also an awful lot of those e-scooters whizzing around. Was that simply a Govt rumour that they would be limited in speed and that riders would have to have at least a Provisional Licence?
