Paul Campell: 'Otherwise all continues to be well.' Well, its all well unless you need to travel across the tube lines or live around those areas, in which case its a nightmare most of the week. But you don't give a sh@t about that. Loved the flower market and I had never seen the High Road so busy. But lets be clear, there were lots and lots of cars. Every available parking spot on the High Road and side roads taken, plus the overflow parking. Remember with temporary CS9 nearly all this Sunday parking will go. It also rather undermines the argument that noone goes to the High Road by car. The interesting thing that there quite a few bikes, lots of pedestrians and cars. All seemed to cope just fine. So what problem do the further plans solve? And how does closing TGT have any positive effect on all of this, apart from taking away parking and making people make longer journeys? |
