| Yes, dear Stuart. Repeatedly stating that black is white does not make it so. You have your views on dear Carl - others have theirs. We are not all wrong. You obviously have your motives for supporting the idiotic statements on Hammersmith Bridge traffic. Good luck with achieving them. In the meantime suck it up. The Bridge will eventually be opened to cars again. Thousands of us will welcome it. Perhaps your hero, Carl never has the need to use the bridge? Perhaps he is just incredibly selfish and enjoys the discomfort of others so he just comes across as a Troll. I don't know and quite frankly dear I don't give a damn. I have no more time to waste on dullards. BTW when I first moved to Barnes from Chiswick in 1989 and I used the No. 9 Bus up Castelnau to Hammersmith, it was still a double decker and there was no restriction on the number of buses on the bridge. I supported the decision to eliminate double deckers and limit the number of buses on the bridge at the same time. I also supported the closure of the bridge whilst they changed the colour from vomit beige back to the original 1887 original green. I walked from Castelnau to Hammersmith whilst the bridge was closed and usually enjoyed it. When the bridge re-opened I was back on the bus or back in my car or on my motorcycle and enjoyed an extra hour in bed in the mornings. Why would you or Carl think that things have changed so radically? |
