| Chiswick is definitely going to lose out in terms of linkages with Crossrail. The overground doesn't work for everyone but it would have been handy to have a relatively easy trip to make a connection. Now I think the best way to reach it is by taking the District Line out to Ealing and change there but that may involve extra expense as you will be travelling through an outer zone. The alternative, if you need step free access would be a longish bus journey to Acton Mainline. Once the Piccadilly line serves Turnham Green I doubt many people will bother connecting to Crossrail/Elizabeth line but it is almost inevitable that the stop at the local station will be delayed as well. |
