> "Your phone number is being monitored by BT, please leave your name and we will forward the call to the owner" No, it isn't the caller's number that's being monitored by BT, but the called number, and it's your machine that's doing the monitoring, based on Caller ID. The message actually says "Calls to the number are being monitored by BT Call Guardian. Please state your name and then press the hash key". |
