Christopher, with the 8500, you can set the phone to answer the call without the phone ringing.It then asks the caller to identify themselves.It then puts the caller on hold while putting the message through to you.If you want to take the call, just press one, if it's a nuisance call, press three.That blocks anymore calls from that phone.The 8500 is a great phone.Look at the online reviews. |
