Price war because of many reasons such as BT and BT sport and SKY for sport. Also Virgin and BT and its acquisition of EE because Virgin Mobile rents its capacity from EE. Some headlines which point to Virgin Media wanting the fastest super fast broadband and maybe your paying for that even if you do not want or need it. But BT is trialling super G which has 2000 customers in its trial which is delivering 500Mbps. Sky and talktalk along with CityFibre which builds,designs and operates pure-fibre networks across the UK are trialling super fast broadband which its trials are showing testers getting upto 950Mbps. On those numbers Virgin could soon be behind the comp on its speeds.
