Donald Trump talks out of his rear, and certainly ought to take to heart the saying "Before speaking, engage brain". Tyson Fury seems to have unreconstructed views dating back to at least the 1950s. But in a country that prides itself on its tradition of free speech, where even Bean McBean and his chums can spout nonsense to their heart's content, is it really right to want to ban them for talking out of turn ? Surely debating with them or ridiculing them is a much better way to deal with them ? After all, many of us find the views of Jeremy Corbean or Ken Livingstone repugnant, but that doesn't mean they should be stopped from expressing them. |
