I don't expect that they like the crisp packet though. Just imagine what it would be like without any clean-ups? Using the river as a rubbish tip may not be officially allowed any more as it was but on the other hand packaging has increased greatly - but hopefully over-packaging may be declining. This will only happen if and when we complain when we think it too much and unnecessary. Do you remember being able to buy the odd loose screw or a quarter of sweets tipped onto the scale out of a big jar and then into a little paper bag? |
