Red lights (side, brake, fog) shining backwards from motor vehicles don't seem to interfere with motorist's vision, so why do anything different on a bike? Pedal reflectors generally make a bike identifiable as such. If the rider is wearing clothing with reflective strips or patches, that also works well, as do reflective ankle bands. (you can tell I ride lit up like a Trafalgar Square Christmas Tree) |
