Exactly. Bring our own or have paper bags or buy durable. It doesn't take long to get the hang of it. I can't remember the last time I took a plastic carrier. I don't do online groceries. No need to but when visiting family of 5 plus cat and Waitrose online shop arrived every Friday night with ocado there were piles of carrier bags spilling contents out all over the floor. Family effort to get it all into fridge, freezer, cupboards but no space for carrier bags. They had to go behind the sofa and don't forget to give them back next Friday ( for recycling ) or alternatively put them in the bin. The whole point of this is to reduce the number of plastic carriers going out into the environment. Ocado don't seem to have got the message. Is the deliverer going to stop and count them as well? |
