| The planning dept were in favor of the development . It was rejected at a planning committee meeting. John Todd voted against it. When I asked him why he was unable to give me any specific reason why he voted in this way! I do not think he did the rate payers any favors with his vote. Chiswick Village Directors, mounted an expensive campaign against the developer much of their arguments were misleading and incorrect. They, the Dirctors have cost the rate payers of Hounslow and the residents of Chiswick Village a great deal of money. I understand that it was they who declined to attend meetings with the developers. In my opinion the decent thing to do now would be to resign and at least retain some dignity. |
