The question is, what will we do when these migrants eventually do make it here? Offer a blanket, and arrest record for trying to survive? They have traveled a long way, through hardships many of us can not fathom, all for opportunity. Are we going to give them an opportunity, or are we going to oppress and treat them like vagrants? I see no plan to support what will occur, an influx of migrants who will be legally (with asylum) deserving of services and support. If the NHS is struggling with the general population, I can only imagine what will occur without a contingency plan in place. |
