| When will someone take responsibility for the problems with the NHS, it really does boil down to bad management in the hospitals to many chiefs and insufficient indians. Each department should be run independently may be something along the lines of a school whereby there are Governors who assist to ensure that everything is done to a system. Or, why cannot we adopt a situation similar to France, you go to the doctor he may refer you to a Consultant but he gives you the contact details and you make the appointment may be you need a scan of x ray again you organise that and when the results come back they are given to you and then you take them back to your doctor. Think of how much time and bureaucracy that would save let alone all the administration costs. Just a thought |
