Well of course some years ago we had District Health Authorities made up of local people and Community Health Councils to represent the patients and who had statutory rights of consultation. Sorry to say they went west under a Labour government, a retrograde step if ever there was one. All we've got now is constant 're-organisation' done by people who have no knowledge of health care and precious little about management either.
