'To be fair seeing as they already fly at 4am what is the point of stopping them over night' - Because even the pro-Heathrow Davies knows that there will be thousands more planes going over and it would be a total nightmare for anyone living in a large part of the South East, not just around Heathrow. And while you may be used to them it ruins the lives of many others. A ban on diesel cars - exactly when is that coming in? And as for transport links - if you live in Gatwick and around there as many do the transport links to Gatwick are better. It is also quick and easy to get to Gatwick by train from London. |
