If you have had no luck try Transport for All, they are the main London charity campaigning for disabled people's rights to transport. If you are near to South Acton station you could go on a train ride. You can pre-book assistance, so that boarding ramps are deployed on 03457 484950. From South Acton you should be able to reach either Richmond  and onward services into Surrey or head around to Willesden Junction and catch a train into Euston.
