Some posters seem to believe that a kite could come down over London. Well we've had An aircraft full of horses veer off the runway on landing and crash into the back of Terminal one while it was being constructed. We had the Trident stall on take off and crash into a field behind Staines High Street, all people on board were sadly killed. If it had been taking off in the other direction it May of crash into Hounslow town centre. Then an aircraft on landing, on which the flight crew mistook the A4 for the runway and at the last minute turned powered up and just missed the Telephone exchange, I was underneath that bloody thing when that happen We also had people falling out of aircraft over Richmond and Kew, what if, due to this practice it interferes with the stability of the aircraft, or stops the under carriage from lowering during landing. It isn’t a matter of luck, sooner or later the has to be an indecent over London that could lead to a catastrophic accident over the flight path. As an aside. Terminal one has been closed and will be pulled down, the reconstruction will be to extend the new Terminal two. Then terminal three will closed and pulled down, but nothing has been said as to what will replace it |
