worth knowing that it is totally fixable - they just have to put in the right extract system - or if that is too difficult then they can be asked to put in scrubbers. Don't live with it - it is an avoidable nuisance. To do it properly does cost money, but it can be enforced.

Write to the restaurant and let them know you are going to complain - they may not know there is an issue.

If that does not elicit a proper response then go to the LA and contact their landlord as there is often a lease requirement not to cause a "nuisance".
