If you mean they are dumbing down to keep audience share, I agree with you. Their TV news is infected with tabloid values - there is no sense of proportion in their reporting whenever there's a major story, and their need to hear from multiple journalists/pundits in various different locations crowds out sensible coverage of other important news items. Over the past decade they've totally altered the character of Radio 3's morning coverage - bleeding chunks of music, interspersed with tweets, emails, idiotic "brain teasers" followed by endless lists of the names of those who got it right and gained their one second of fame.

But a hotbed of lefties - never!
