"Placing recyclables into separate compartments at the roadside is time-consuming and inefficient. On balance it is more productive, less resource intensive and less costly to mix the materials for these to be sorted at a specialised facility" Food waste will still be collected separately and weekly.  I think you can expect textiles to be incinerated. Most people seem to mix everything up in their green boxes which does make it more difficult for the crew to sort and worse than that don't rinse food containers out.  Unfortunately a lot of people think only of their own convenience. I hope someone has looked at the size of the lorries before signing the contract and whether they will go down our roads UNLIKE THE LAST TIME!
