Perhaps, although I also think that had the "yes" campaign been fronted by wee Nicky rather than that odious pillock Salmond, and had they put forward properly costed plans, and a plan B had they not been allowed to keep the pound, then we'd now be looking at an independent Scotland. Come Friday if Labour can only command the confidence of the house with SNP "support" you can guarantee that there'll be a price exacted for that. Payback? You'll be invoking Culloden next, whilst the Poll Tax was undoubtedly crass and unfair I don't see that it's the government's job to prop up industries that can no longer compete globally, and from what I remember Rosyth has got a couple of dirty great aircraft carriers bunged their way to keep them busy. |
