No local advice as such but I would suggest taking to "The Leasehold Advisory Service" known as "LEASE": http://www.lease-advice.org/ 020 7832 2500 info@lease-advice.org Fleetbank House, 2-6 Salisbury Square, London, EC4Y 8JX Its website says: "LEASE is a Non Departmental Public Body (NDPB) funded by Government to provide free legal advice to leaseholders, landlords, professional advisers, managers and others on the law affecting residential leasehold in England and Wales". I would also suggest that you pay off any arrears you've built up as I imagine they will be fairly minimal. A recorded delivery letter to the agent, explaining that you do not accept their calculations but will pay as directed pending mediation should safeguard your position. |
