Had mine relocated a couple of years back by National Grid -apparently they are the only ones allowed to touch the supply in, everything after that can be done by a fitter. All Old School monopoly supply terms. They quoted me £1500 which I had to pay several months before the works were planned And 5 teams later (the 1st 4 all turned up, shook their heads and went home again) and a dug up path and wrecked front garden the meter was finally moved some 80 feet, a bit more than the original 6 foot planned at first. It cost them a lot more than the original quote and I even got money back for the trashed garden and being messed about so much. |
