Mine get the top off Thrive cat treats and scoff the lot within seconds if I forget to shut them in a drawer.  Cupboards are no good, they open them.

Aloofness in cats may be common to some breeds but it is not true of most orientals.  They love humans, want to be with them, checking out what you are doing, patting your face with their paw for attention, chatting to you and they are not really happy unless a part of them is touching you, mine get as close as possible as often as possible and sometimes if I fall asleep on the sofa I wake up and find I can't move as all 5 heavyweights have draped themselves on me.
