The land is Hounslow but the bins were Ealing. It had been suggested at the last Southfield Ward Forum that the bins were an eyesore, rubbish was dumped at the site and the area was used as a toilet. A reasonable amount of re-cycling was being collected and Ealing Council did not want to do away with the bins completely and wished to place them elsewhere. Alas, somehow a 'miscommunication' occurred and the bins were taken away prior to any agreement with ward councillors as to where they should be re-positioned.
If anyone has a suggestion as to where the bins could go, please post.
